Description

Hosted by the Sands Institute for Chinese Language and Culture at UNLV, and co-hosted by Chinese Corner, this special lecture features guest speaker Baldwin Chiu, who brings over three decades of martial arts experience to explore the connection between Tai Chi and athletic performance.

In this interactive session, participants will discover how traditional Tai Chi principles, such as balance, control, and energy flow, can enhance coordination, flexibility, and overall movement efficiency. Attendees will also gain insight into techniques that support injury prevention, recovery, and long-term physical resilience.

This event offers a unique opportunity to experience how Eastern movement practices can elevate performance, improve well-being, and transform the way we move, both on and off the field.
