Sikolohiyang Pilipino, or Filipino psychology, utilizes Philippine indigenous cultural practices and values to understand our people in ways that Western psychology cannot fully capture. Attendees will learn about the history of Western psychology, its shortcomings, the history of how Sikolohiyang Pilipino came to be, and foundational concepts from the field!
