Join us for an informative discussion and overview of the UNLV PsyD in Clinical Psychology program. This session will provide a comprehensive review of the admissions process, including academic preparation, clinical and professional experiences, and the program's holistic application review process. Participants will also learn how the program evaluates applicants' alignment with its mission, values, and training objectives.
The PsyD Clinical Psychology is a full-time, practice-focused doctoral program designed to prepare individuals for competent and ethical practice as clinical psychologists, equipped to make a meaningful impact on individuals and communities through direct clinical service, advocacy, and leadership that meets the behavioral health needs of Nevada and beyond. As the first PsyD program in Nevada, the program emphasizes hands-on clinical training, evidence-based assessment and intervention, and community-engaged care, with particular focus on children, adolescents, families, and underserved populations.
