Come and join us in this practice of relaxation as we slowly work our way across various muscle groups to decrease tension and stress. Progressive Muscle Relaxation or PMR, is a relaxation practice developed in the early 1900’s and has repeatedly proven to help with relaxation of the mind and body. Through increasing awareness of what tension feels like, and then using techniques to help your muscles and body relax, the mind follows. PMR has also been shown to support pain relief, better sleep, and other mind-body benefits.
