Description

One of the primary ways young children communicate, learn, and build secure relationships is through play. In this interactive Huddle, we will explore how everyday play strengthens attachment, supports emotional regulation, and helps children express feelings they may not yet have the words to explain. We will discuss how behavior often communicates an underlying need rather than simple misbehavior, and how connection can become a powerful parenting tool. Parents and caregivers will leave with realistic, child-led play strategies that fit into busy family routines along with ways to create meaningful moments of connection that support healthy emotional development.
