OUR: Research Data Life Cycle and Data Management
The research data lifecycle describes steps to be taken during the research process to ensure proper data management and curation. This workshop will identify these stages, discuss the importance of managing data, and assist participants in getting started with better data management practices, integral to any research project.
Learning Objectives: By participating in this workshop you will:
- Identify the 6 core steps of the research data lifecycle
- Discuss the importance of properly managing data
- Evaluate how to incorporate recommended practices into the research process
