Description
In this lecture recital, doctor of musical arts candidate Nicholas Carozza will present a historical background and analysis of Noël for voice, oboe, and piano composed in 1901 by Clémence de Grandval (1828–1907). The work was Grandval’s eleventh and final song using the poetry of Nobel laureate Sully Prudhomme and was dedicated to oboist Louis Bleuzet and baritone Paul Daraux.
Parking
Attendees are welcome to park in the Cottage Grove Parking Garage. Parking is free after 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; Fridays after 1 p.m.; and all day Saturdays and Sundays. During these times, visitors may park in any staff, student, or visitor space free of charge. Please observe handicapped/disabled, reserved, resident, and emergency parking restrictions at all times.
