Non-Tenure Track Gathering (NTTG): How Can NTT Faculty Obtain Faculty Leave?
Office/Remote Location
Description
This month's topic: How can NTT faculty obtain faculty leave?
Assistant professor in residence, Dave Nourse, Ph.D., who is a former chair of and current member of the Faculty Leave Committee, will join us for a discussion about faculty development leave and sabbatical for NTT faculty. If you were wanting to apply for leave and had questions about the process and what types of projects or research would qualify for and be awarded leave, please attend one of our two online sessions
What Are Non-Tenure Track Gatherings (NTTGs)?
The Teaching & Learning Commons hosts a community for non-tenure track instructional faculty at UNLV, including faculty-in-residence, part-time instructors (PTIs), lecturers, and postdoctoral scholars. The gatherings center on themes and topics chosen and led by members of this community.
The community will meet in-person throughout the year at a day/time determined by the group both in-person and on Zoom. The aim is to foster community and to support NTT in sharing resources, challenges, and experiences specific to the NTT experience–all within a safe and supportive space. If you are interested, please let us know by registering.
