Description

We all experience moods and our mood can significantly impact many aspects of life, including how we think, feel, and behave. Therefore, learning skills to help manage our moods can significantly improve our functioning and quality of life. Given that our 1) mood, 2) thoughts, and 3) behaviors are all interconnected, we can begin improving our mood by learning techniques that encourage positive thinking and support engaging in positive behaviors and activities.

This huddle is part of a two-part Mood Management series and will focus on “thoughts.” You will learn how your thoughts and mood are connected, how to challenge unhelpful negative thoughts, and how to engage in more positive thinking patterns. *Note: These huddles can be stand alone, and you do not need to take them in order, should you like to attend both.
