Mindfulness and Well-Being: Body and Emotion
When
Office/Remote Location
Description
Our bodies and our emotions are constantly speaking to us, yet in the pace of daily and professional life, we often lose touch with both. Grounded in the foundations of mindfulness, this Huddle explores how present moment awareness of the body and the breath connects directly to our emotional experience. We will look at how sensations, thoughts, and feelings move together, why our minds naturally lean towards difficulty, and how we can bring a more balanced, compassionate attention to what we are experiencing. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a guided practice of mindful observation of breath, body, and emotion, and will explore practical ways to apply this awareness to decision making and personal life.
