Campus Location

Office/Remote Location

Description

Drop by UNH 103 between 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, to grab a snack and for a preview of the new non-credit-bearing microcredential course: Work+ Foundations I: Essential Competencies for Workplace Success.

While designed for student employees in mind, all undergraduate and graduate students are welcome!

Employers look for practical skills when hiring and this course introduces you to translating your everyday experiences in your student job to resume-ready descriptions.

You'll learn about four of the National Association of College and Employers (NACE) career competencies that are essential to the workplace, whether you work on-campus, are applying to an internship or your first job after graduation.

You’ll walk through communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and professionalism, then work on describing your experiences to start building your resume.

Working during this time? Please get your supervisor's approval before attending.
