Want to see if you have what it takes to be a lifeguard? Lifeguard Training 101 is a fun, active, drop-in style conditioning and skill-building session designed to get you pool-ready. Led by an official Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor, this monthly workout combines swim fitness with hands-on technical instruction.
What You'll Do:
-
Swim Conditioning: Build the endurance, strength, and confidence needed for rescue swimming.
-
Intro to Lifeguard Skills: Get a sneak peek at real Red Cross techniques, from victim rescues to water entries.
-
Test Your Limits: Practice official lifeguard prerequisite swims in a supportive, low-pressure setting.
Please note: This is an uncertified prep course and does not issue a Red Cross certification. It is designed for fitness, skill development, and preparation for full certification courses.

No prior registration or signup is required—simply drop in during the scheduled time.
Please note that this is not a beginner "learn-to-swim" class. While instructors will help refine your stroke technique, participants should already possess basic swimming abilities.
