Description

Helping children develop healthy eating habits can be challenging, especially as they become more independent in their food choices. Parents and caregivers play an important role in shaping children’s attitudes toward food, nutrition and mealtimes.

In this webinar, participants will explore current research on children’s nutrition and learn practical strategies for encouraging healthy eating without creating unnecessary conflict. This Huddle will cover the transition from soft to solid foods, the development of eating habits, the influence of advertising, the value of parental role modeling and the importance of offering appropriate choices. Participants will also learn ways to reduce reliance on processed foods, make healthier selections while managing costs and plan balanced family meals.
