Description

In a busy world full of distractions, mindfulness offers a simple way to slow down, stay present, and respond, rather than react, to what is happening around you. This huddle provides an introduction to mindfulness, including what mindfulness actually means, common misconceptions about it, and simple ways to bring it into everyday life. We will also discuss how mindfulness supports overall health and well-being. Participants will leave with practical tools for reducing distraction, handling stress with more awareness, and finding small moments of presence throughout the day. We will close with a short guided practice that participants can begin weaving into their daily lives.
