Description

Graduate school can be both rewarding and demanding, making intentional self-care practices and mental health support essential for sustaining personal well-being and academic success. Grad Rebel Self-Care: Regroup, Recharge, Refresh offers graduate students a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves through guided wellness activities designed to support mental health and well-being among our graduate community. Activities include:

  • 30-Minute Aromatherapy Breathing & Stretching: Breathe deeply and move gently to soothe your mind and body using the power of essential oils and mindful stretches.
  • 1-Hour Wellness Lunch & Learn: Join Amy Prescott for “Lost in the Sauce: Graduate School, Identity and Relationships,” a lunch-and-learn focused on exploring identity as a graduate student, the responsibilities of life outside of graduate school, and how to navigate the important relationships we all have. Together we will identify ways to not get "lost in the sauce" and emerge not only with a degree but a clear understanding of who you are.
  • 1-Hour Zine Activity: Engage in zine-making as a form of storytelling and reflection, using creative expression to explore your unique identities in graduate school in an affirming, low-pressure environment.
