The UNLV Maternal and Child Health Student Organization (MACHSO) is a new interdisciplinary Graduate & Professional Student Organization made up of UNLV students, alumni, faculty, and community members. Our mission is to promote and create resources and events that improve Maternal and Child Health in Southern Nevada by strengthening leadership, networks, mentoring, and education for all who are interested in this field.We invite students from all majors and levels to attend our first general meeting and seminar on Tuesday, February 10, from 3–4 p.m. in GTW 318. This meeting will introduce MACHSO’s mission, upcoming activities, and opportunities to get involved.

All interested students, alumni, faculty, and community members are welcome to attend and learn more about how to participate in MACHSO and support Maternal and Child Health initiatives at UNLV and in the community.

Students can officially join MACHSO through the UNLV Involvement Center.
