Description
The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships invites current UNLV students to complete their 2025-2026 FAFSA & Alternate Need Forms and answer questions they may have*. Registration for the event is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome.
Price
There is no cost to attend.
Admission Information
*Please have the following information and documentation (if applicable) with you for the event:
- It is recommended that students and their contributor(s) try to create a Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID at least 3 days prior to completing the FAFSA. Students must have a Social Security number (SSN) in order to get an FSA ID. Contributors do not need to have an SSN.
- Social Security numbers for you and your parents (if you are a dependent student)
- Parents who do not have a valid SSN will be able to create a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID). View instructions on creating an FSA ID for contributors without an SSN.
- Alien Registration Number (ARN) (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
- Date of birth (month/day/year format) for you and your parents
- Knowledge of your parents' current marital status
- 2023 Federal tax information, tax documents, or tax returns, including IRS W-2 information for you and your parents (if you are a dependent student)
- Records of 2023 untaxed income
The Alternate Need Form (ANF) is available for students who are not eligible to complete the FAFSA and want to be considered for institutional grants and scholarships.
