Downstream, developed by UNLV’s Office of Learning Analytics, is a Canvas-integrated learning analytics tool that combines brief student reflection surveys with course activity data. Track factors such as confidence, motivation, study habits, stress, and resilience to better understand where students may need support. Downstream now features Chiron, an AI agent informed by machine learning predictive models that recommends early alert categories for your class—making it easier to identify and support struggling students early.
