Online learning labs are guided, hands-on workshops hosted by UNLV Online Student Support that help students build real skills in UNLV’s online tools.
In partnership with the Writing Center, we have prepared resources and strategies tips for completing writing assignments in online classes. This session will look at using Google Docs or Microsoft Word to write, revise, and submit academic assignments more efficiently. Students will learn how to use Google’s built-in tools to streamline their writing process. Additional topics include using headers and spacing, commenting and suggesting edits, inserting images and links, exporting documents to PDF, responding to feedback, and more.
This session will be held on Zoom and will be recorded. A recording will be available on the UNLV Online Student Support YouTube channel.
