The integration of generative AI tools into nearly every facet of daily life can range from annoying to overwhelming. Many tools and applications automatically opt us in to AI features and may collect or use our data in ways that are not always transparent.
This workshop explores data autonomy and strategies for mindfully limiting and, when possible, removing AI applications from our lives. The workshop also will provide a supportive space to discuss concerns about generative AI while developing practical, technical, and social skills for opting out of AI tools and practices.
