Description

Different forms of academic writing require unique approaches, skills, and strategies. In this session, you will be introduced to foundational aspects of research and scholarly writing, such as planning research, conducting a literature review, structuring papers, academic writing style, tips for editing, and getting feedback. Additionally, you’ll learn about campus resources that can help you navigate your writing projects.

Learning Outcome

Enhance academic writing know-how by gaining a deeper understanding of different types of scholarly writing and how to apply effective techniques.

Parking Information

Enter the campus from Maryland Parkway onto Cottage Grove Avenue. Use the Cottage Grove parking garage located just north of the building. Student parking spaces are not enforced during BRIDGE.
