This workshop will introduce postdoctoral scholars to practical and responsible ways to use AI in academic and grant writing. Participants will learn how AI can support brainstorming, outlining, drafting, revising, and editing while maintaining their own scholarly voice and originality. The session will also cover how to evaluate AI-generated content for accuracy, bias, and fabricated information. Participants will discuss how AI is currently handled in the grant writing and submission process, including considerations related to confidentiality, authorship, disclosure, and research integrity.
