Active Assailant 8-Hour Training

Description

The University Police Department is pleased to offer a dynamic 8-hour, in-person Active Assailant Training designed to provide hands-on experience and practical tools to help participants prepare for and respond to emergency situations.

This comprehensive training will equip participants with:

  • Critical response strategies for active threat situations

  • Interactive, scenario-based exercises that simulate real-life emergencies

  • Expert instruction from law enforcement professionals

Please note: Seating is limited to the remaining 14 spots, and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If you or someone in your department is interested, we encourage you to register as soon as possible.

NCBRT Account and Registration Requirements

All participants must have an active NCBRT account and complete the course registration process prior to the class.

Class ID: 35005

  1. Visit the NCBRT portal and log in if you already have an account.

  2. If you do not have an account, select Create Account and follow the prompts to set up and confirm your account.

  3. After logging in, your student dashboard will display an Action List. Select the “Complete” link to begin registration.

  4. Complete all registration fields marked with a red asterisk.

  5. A FEMA SID number is required to complete course registration.

  6. Select Review Terms and Conditions, check the agreement box, and select Close.

  7. Select Complete Registration.

  8. Select Begin Class Pre-Test and complete the required pre-test.

Once the pre-test is completed, your registration will be fully finalized.
