2026 Economic Outlook

Description
During our economic Outlook, we forecasted future economic activity for the U.S., Nevada, and Southern Nevada economies. Outlook is conducted by UNLV’s Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER).
As we celebrate 35 years of Outlook, we’re bringing together nationally recognized experts to help you see through the uncertainty. From evolving workforce demands and advances in artificial intelligence to persistent affordability challenges, geopolitical tensions, and changing consumer confidence, today's economic landscape is anything but predictable. Here in Southern Nevada, event subtle shifts in tourism spending, business investment, and population growth can have far-reaching impacts on our economy.
Hosted by UNLV’s Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) and presented by PNC Bank, Outlook 2026 convenes Nevada’s business leaders, policymakers and community stakeholders to examine the economic trends shaping our region and nation. We’re pleased to announce that Augustine (Gus) Faucher, chief economist for The PNC Financial Services Group will join this year’s economic forecast panel to provide expert analysis of the forces driving today’s economy, and the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for Nevada and the nation.
