The minor in Kinesiology provides students with a multi-faceted view of human movement and performance. Students earning a minor in Kinesiology will study foundational sciences such as anatomical kinesiology, biomechanics, exercise physiology, motor behavior, and the psychology of exercise and sport.

- Explain the biological foundations of motor behavior and biomechanics principles that underlie human motor performance.
- Specify and differentiate the physiological responses and systemic adaptations to exercise training, including moderate to vigorous physical activity and muscle-strengthening activity.
- Recognize emergencies and apply knowledge of emergency action planning, procedures, and first-aid techniques needed in real-world situations, emphasizing sport and physical activity.
