CAMP OVERVIEW
 

There are so many opportunities to grow when you participate in the UNLV Harrah College of Hospitality's summer program! Our Hospitality Exploration Summer Camp allows high school students to immerse themselves in a fun and educational pre-college experience. This means learning what it's like to be a student at the top-ranked Hospitality College, engaging with real professors, and bonding with fellow campers ... all the while getting a taste of the exciting career options within the dynamic hospitality industry. 

WHAT TO EXPECT


Hosted by the UNLV Harrah College of Hospitality, ranked as the #1 hospitality program in the country, you’ll discover how earning a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management—a business management degree with a hospitality focus—can open doors to careers in hotel management, events and entertainment, food and beverage, integrated resorts, country clubs, sports management, travel and tourism, and more!  This 3-night, 4-day immersive experience is packed with hands-on activities that showcase the possibilities in hospitality. You’ll connect with industry leaders, engage in interactive sessions with our faculty and current students, and explore how earning your degree at UNLV is within reach. From exciting field trips to networking with corporate partners, you’ll gain real-world insights and even learn the steps to apply to our program. Discover your future in hospitality this summer!

  • Dates: Tuesday, June 23, 2025 - Friday, June 26, 2026
  • Cost: $550.00 (meals & on-campus housing included). To learn about available scholarships to cover the cost of the camp, email kaila.seidler@unlv.edu.
  • Deadline: Registration is due May 1, 2026
  • Who Can Attend: This summer camp is open to any current high school student.

Eligibility Criteria: Students must be current high school students with at least a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA. Preference for this camp will go to students who are juniors or seniors, with diverse goals and backgrounds. 

Refund: If you need to cancel your registration, please submit your request in writing via email to earlyoutreach@unlv.edu. All requests received before June 9, 2026, will receive a refund of the registration fee.

If you wish to register more than one student, complete a separate form for each student.
