Workday is designed to manage information that goes into the system through business processes, approvals, and transactions. Reports provide one way to review the data stored within Workday.

In addition, there are tools that help bring information out of the system for analysis and reporting. Two of the most commonly used are Discovery Boards and Worksheets.

Discovery Boards

Discovery Boards allow users to build queries, tables, and charts using Workday data sources. The interface uses drag-and-drop functionality to make organizing information straightforward and efficient.

Worksheets

Worksheets is a spreadsheet application that connects directly with Workday reports. It enables you to import data, keep it automatically refreshed, and work with it in a familiar spreadsheet format.
Both tools are available through Workday Drive. To access them, select your Profile menu in Workday and choose Drive.
