Dr. Liz Valvano, UNLV Music, presented her poster and research entitled "Where in the World are the Women Bassoonists?" at the poster competition at the International Double Reed Society annual conference at Miami University, Oxford, OH, on July 8-11.

In this research, Dr. Valvano cataloged over 600 female bassoonists all over the world, culminating years' long research in a living document and academic poster highlighting these international bassoonists.
