Parking permits for the 2025–2026 academic year go on sale August 4 via the parking portal. All students parking on campus have the option to purchase a valid annual parking permit, a daily parking permit, or pay a per-hour rate through the PayByPhone app.
UNLV uses a virtual permit system where your license plate is your permit. Accuracy is essential when entering vehicle details. When purchasing your permit, please be prepared with your license plate number and vehicle info (make, model, year, color). If you prefer to back into parking spots and your vehicle does not have a front plate, a back-in decal is required and can be purchased in the Parking & Transportation Services office.
New for fall 2025, electric vehicle (EV) owners who utilize UNLV charging stations during weekday hours (Monday–Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.) will have the option to purchase an EV Endorsement permit ($15/month) in addition to a valid annual UNLV parking permit, or pay a $2 per hour parking rate through PayByPhone. Additionally, charging electric vehicles on campus during after-hours and weekends through ChargePoint will cost $.25 per kWh, regardless of UNLV parking permits or an EV Endorsement. Visit the Parking & Transportation’s Electric Vehicles website for fee structure details.
