UNLV Planning & Construction has posted an update on the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art roof reconstruction project. (Scroll down through the other reports to locate us.) They conclude: "Construction is scheduled to continue through Sept. 30. The result will be a more weather-resistant and energy-efficient building, as well as better climate control for the museum and its collections."

The installation period for our new exhibitions will begin at the start of October, after their work is completed. All of the exhibitions will open with a 5-9 p.m. reception on Friday, October 23. The Marjorie Barrick Museum will then resume its usual schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
