UNLV educators! Do you want to bring your classes to UNLV’s Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art for a free guided tour? Art exhibitions aren’t only for art students. An art exhibition is an interdisciplinary story that addresses a variety of ideas.
Our in-house docents have used our exhibitions to present an array of topics to different class groups, including
- neuroscience
- life in a diaspora
- pop culture history
- communication tactics
- innovative methods of conveying research concepts
Our spring 2026 exhibitions touch on a number of topics, including
- place-making and ecology
- grief and mourning
- migration
- mental health
The Marjorie Barrick Museum also houses the Las Vegas Zine Library, an archive of handmade publications dating from the 1990s to the present. The Library is available for research and zine workshops.
To make a booking with us, contact Dr. Zida Wang (zida.wang@unlv.edu or 702-895-3381) and let him know the time you’d like to visit, the number of students we can expect, and any topics you’d like us to cover. Check our Exhibitions page (or visit the Museum personally) to see if our current and upcoming exhibitions are right for you. Our spring exhibition schedule runs from February 20-June 13, 2026. Different exhibitions will be available in fall. Please make your booking at least one week or more in advance so we can confirm your chosen timeslot will be available.
