Nov. 6, 2026

The Office of Research Integrity has updated its website with information about Research Misconduct, Responsible Conduct of Research Training, and added a new page about the Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) Program . Faculty, staff, students, and other members of the research community are encouraged to review the pages to learn more about UNLV’s policies, training requirements, and research compliance resources.

  • Research Misconduct explains what constitutes research misconduct, what is not considered misconduct, who the university policy applies to, and how UNLV responds to allegations.
  • Responsible Conduct of Research Training describes the training topics and components, who is required to complete the training, how to register, and the timeline for completing and renewing certification.
  • Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Program introduces the program’s role in supporting research compliance and continuous improvement. It also describes the types of reviews conducted and what researchers can expect during a review.
