What was your favorite thing about campus life?
I loved the energy and sense of possibility on campus. No matter how hectic life was, stepping onto campus made me feel carefree and inspired. The campus itself is beautiful, and just being there brought a sense of rejuvenation. It was a place where I could take a moment to relax and soak in the atmosphere before heading to class, even when balancing a busy life.
What are your favorite memories from UNLV?
Living on campus during my undergraduate years was an unforgettable experience. It was my first taste of independence, meeting people from different walks of life, and having conversations about life and the future. Those memories shaped who I am and remain incredibly special.
How did you approach networking while at UNLV to build connections in your field?
I naturally built connections through my master's program, where most of my peers were also educators. I strongly recommend leveraging LinkedIn to maintain professional relationships because the education field is surprisingly interconnected. Being kind and maintaining positive interactions is crucial because you never know when paths might cross again.
