UNLV @Nellis is UNLV’s office/classroom located at Nellis Air Force Base.

UNLV courses at Nellis are designed to serve our local active-duty and military-affiliated students. Students must have a valid military-issued ID to gain entry to Nellis Air Force Base.

The Nellis office can no longer issue base passes to civilian students. Additionally, as of February 2026, Nellis AFB suspended the Trusted Traveler program. All students must now access Nellis using their own credentials.

The office is located on Nellis Air Force Base in North Las Vegas. The base is located at the intersection of Las Vegas Blvd and Craig Road. Once on base, the office can be found in the 99thFSS bldg. #20 located at 4475 England Ave. Signage on base will refer to this building as the “Pass & ID” building.

Currently UNLV offers a variety of general education courses designed to assist local airmen completing their CCAF Associates degrees and “next step” courses chosen to assist airmen with their progression towards a bachelor’s degree. We also offer pre-business courses as Business is the program UNLV promotes on base.

Yes. Courses offered at Nellis are the same as courses offered on UNLV’s campus. UNLV @Nellis instructors are UNLV instructors that are offering their courses at the Nellis location.

Courses offered at Nellis are a little different from the traditional course offerings on campus. All Nellis courses are 8 weeks long, instead of 16 weeks, and are offered weekday evenings. Course days and time options will look like this:

• Mon & Wed: 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Tues & Thurs: 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m..

UNLV @Nellis offers courses during the fall, spring and summer semesters.

• Mondays & Wednesdays: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Fridays/Campus Day: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
