Priority deadline for fall financial aid and scholarship consideration
Fall application deadline
You will be required to pay the nonrefundable $60 application fee by credit or debit card.
Apply to UNLV
We accept both the Common Application or our UNLV Application for incoming first-year students only. There is no preference given to either the UNLV Application or the Common Application – we recommend you choose the most convenient application for you.
High School Transcript – If you did not self-report your high school classes and grades in the UNLV application, you must submit your official high school transcript.
ACT or SAT Scores – Test scores are not required for admission but are encouraged for UNLV course placement. Request to have your scores sent to UNLV from ACT or College Board when you register for the test.
Check your Application Status
After submitting your application, you will receive two emails, one with your MyUNLV NSHE ID number and another with your temporary password. Check your MyUNLV account regularly.
Full and equal consideration for financial aid and scholarships is based upon being admitted to UNLV and completing the FAFSA or Alternate Need Form by the November 15 priority deadline. You can apply as early as October 1 for the following academic year.
