ACE Account

To log in to Workday, you must have an ACE Account.

New Employees

Your ACE account will be created during your hire process in Workday, and you should receive an email from the UNLV Office of Information Technology (OIT) with ACE account credentials. After your initial ACE account setup, you can manage your account (password reset/security questions) via the ACE account page or by calling the OIT Help Desk at 702-895-0777.

Student Employees

If you are a student employee, you already have an ACE account. Use the same ACE credentials to log into Workday after your hire is complete.

Former Employees

If you are a former employee, login at MyWorkday Portal through the "Former NSHE Community Members" portal. Your new username is the nine-digit employee ID number (without the leading zeroes) that can be found on your old pay slips. If you have never logged in to Workday as a former employee, click on the "forgot password" link and Workday will send an email to reset the password.

Where can I find my W-2 form?

W-2 statements from 2018 and beyond are available in Workday. Please use the job aid for instructions to view and download these statements. W-2 statements from 2017 and prior may be requested from the NSHE Payroll Services help desk.

When is a personal email address required to be entered for new hires and terminated employees?

When hiring a POOLED employee (i.e., letter of appointment, temporary hourly, and student employees), the employee’s personal email must be entered during the hire process. A UNLV email account (e.g., UNLV student email account) cannot be used as a personal email address.

Former employees need to have access to payroll information in Workday after their departure from the university. In order to retain this access, departments must fully terminate them in Workday. To complete the termination process, follow the steps below:

  1. Access the employee’s job profile
  2. Select “action”
  3. Select “job change”
  4. Select “terminate employee”

IMPORTANT: During the termination process, the employee’s personal email address must be added as their primary home email address.
