The Biomedical Sciences department within UNLV School of Dental Medicine provides future dentists with fundamental scientific knowledge for effective clinical practice. Students learn the foundations of dental medicine through an integrative curriculum of biomedical, behavioral and clinical sciences; robust community outreach experiences; and student-led scholarly research aiming to improve oral health and develop innovative dental technologies.
