Role of the College Union
The college union advances a sense of community, unifying the institution by embracing the diversity of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests. We bolster the educational mission of the institution and the development of students as lifelong learners by delivering an array of cultural, educational, social, and recreational programs, services, and facilities.
By the Numbers
SUES is the muscle behind many of UNLV’s biggest events of the year. From community walks, expos and fairs to student-centered traditions like Premier, Festival of Communities and Homecoming, we are involved tirelessly in the pursuit of memory creation. As the stewards of the Student Union, a 135,000 square foot campus hub, we also manage events for our green spaces such as the Alumni Amphitheater and Academic Mall, as well as the non-academic reservations of classrooms across our 350-acre campus.
