Gael D. Hancock is the manager of the graduate programs in the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She teaches as a part-time instructor at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, and serves on various Harrah Hotel College and university committees. Prior to coming to the university, Hancock had more than 25 years of experience in marketing, advertising, creative design and communications. She has won numerous awards for scriptwriting, collateral materials, and publications. Hancock is a graduate of Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. In addition, she has a Master of Science in Hotel Administration from the Harrah Hotel College at UNLV. She is accredited in public relations (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America and is a Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE).
