Former Executive Vice President & Provost Diane Z. Chase was selected as one of 30 provosts for the new Digital Fellows Project supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The project is designed to provide senior campus leaders (i.e., Chief Academic Officers or CAOs) the critical information, resources, and support they need to help their faculty understand and adopt high-quality digital courseware that personalizes learning and leads to significant gains in undergraduate engagement, retention, and graduation. 

So far, at UNLV this has included a site visit by the project director Kenneth Green, Ph.D., and professional development presentations.
