Whitney Koo is the author of the poetry collection Any Gesture (Black Lawrence Press). Her creative work has appeared in Poetry Magazine, Georgia Review, the Los Angeles Review, Colorado Review, and others. She holds a Ph.D. in English from Oklahoma State University and an MFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Koo is the founder and executive editor of Gasher Press and co-director of the digital project for rural poetics, Boor Soirée.
