Dr. Wayne Ichikawa joined UNLV School of Dental Medicine in 2019 and teaches advanced oral surgery and oral surgery simulation lab, and covers clinical instruction in the Urgent Care Clinic. Dr. Ichikawa earned his bachelor’s from University of California, Berkeley, his master’s in oral surgery from the University of Illinois Chicago, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of California, Los Angeles. He then completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency training at the University of Illinois Chicago. Dr. Ichikawa is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the Nevada Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association.
