Violeta Aguirre is a Las Vegas native with 15 years of health care experience in emergency, pulmonary, and critical care medicine. She earned her initial nursing degree from the College of Southern Nevada in 2011, followed by a bachelor of science in nursing from Nevada State College in 2014. In 2017, she earned a master’s degree in adult gerontology acute care nursing from Grand Canyon University.

Aguirre has practiced as a critical care nurse practitioner since 2017 and has served as a nurse educator since 2020. She earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from UNLV in 2021 and has been a part-time faculty member in the School of Nursing since 2022.
