Travis Tyler is the Cybersecurity Advisor for College of Engineering.

Tyler, a native of Boulder City, holds a BA in English from Dartmouth College and an MEd in higher education from UNLV. Before joining the College of Engineering at UNLV, he served as the academic advisor for computing and engineering technology majors at the College of Southern Nevada. Travis has also worked in various roles in higher education at Nevada State College and Western Oregon University. In a previous life, he competed in and coached college swimming. In his free time, he enjoys reading, swimming, hiking, taking long road trips, and binge-watching anime.
