Academic Advisor, Wilson Advising Center
Tracy Johnson is originally from Anaheim Hills, California. She has more than 10 years of academic advising experience at UNLV. She earned her bachelor's degree in social science studies from UNLV and her master's degree in psychology from NCU. Tracy comes from a military family and is actively involved in the Non-traditional Scholarship Committee, the Student Veteran and Military Family Services Committee, and is the faculty advisor for the Rebel Women Vets, a student organization. Along with advising the general liberal arts population, she serves as the liaison for non-traditional and veteran students within the college. She runs the centers website and Facebook page to keep students updated on upcoming events and items relevant to Liberal Arts majors.
In 2013, Tracy received Advisor of the Year — Student’s Choice Award and the NACADA — Excellence in Advising Award. In 2015, Tracy was named among the top 10 academic advisors at UNLV. Tracy enjoys hiking and traveling and is a Faithful San Francisco 49ers fan. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her infant twins.
