A graduate of the University of Missouri and the University of Chicago, T. R. Witcher has worked as a journalist for more than 20 years. He has written about architecture and urbanism for a variety of publications, including TIME, Civil Engineering, Desert Companion, and Las Vegas Weekly. He has published essays at Salon, TheAtlantic.com and The Believer and won awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, the National Association of Black Journalists, and the American Society of Business Publication Editors.
