Tiberio Garza has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in quantitative methods and bilingual education from Texas A&M University. He is an Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology and Higher Education at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) and Associate Director for UNLV’s Center for Research, Evaluation, and Assessment (CREA). His research includes the application of advanced statistical analysis and culturally relevant evaluation research and methods. In his position, he works with community, school, and university advocates for the betterment of students’ learning.
