Skylar Schultz

Biography
Born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin, Skylar Joy Schultz began her dance training at a young
age. After dancing competitively, she went on to train in the Conservatory program at Point Park
University, graduating in 2017 with a BFA in Dance.
In 2018, Skylar relocated to Las Vegas to pursue her career. She became a faculty member at
The Nevada Ballet Theatre, teaching Jazz and Contemporary genres. Skylar was a dancer for
the WNBA Aces Dance Team, a performer in WOW - The Vegas Spectacular Show, and an
inaugural cast member at The Mayfair Supper Club under the direction of No Ceilings
Entertainment. She went on to achieve a full-time dance role in The Beatles LOVE by Cirque Du
Soleil. During her four years with the production, she was in the ensemble, became a featured
soloist for multiple roles, and was awarded the position as Artist Coach.
Since the closing of LOVE, Skylar has immersed herself into the role of dance instructor. She is
playing an integral role in Nevada Ballet’s Second Company, as well as the Theatre Arts
Preparatory School (TAPS), a multifaceted six month training program. Skylar’s teaching style
fuses her strong technical background with the importance of performance quality, musicality,
style & confidence. She believes in encouraging each student to find their unique purpose, and
lean into what makes them a true artist.
