Shelbi Fitzpatrick, born and raised in Las Vegas, earned her bachelor's degree in English with a minor in political science from UNLV, where she also completed and received her master's in English. Specializing in 19th-century British literature, Fitzpatrick now works as a consultant and as an instructor of English composition. Outside of her work and academic pursuits, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, traveling, and taking a good nap.
