Sasha Mosquera is an interdisciplinary artist, born and raised in Las Vegas, whose work is grounded in personal experience and her love of cats. She uses the feline form as an entry point to create playful and colorful images that reflect emotions or ambiguity. The human form and its cultural ties are also a frequent subject in her work. Since graduating with her bachelor of fine arts degree in 2023, Mosquera has exhibited her work in Southern Nevada at various venues including the Desert Biennial, Jessie & Brian Metcalf Gallery, Core Contemporary, and Rotunda Gallery.
